The patent abstract reveals that the invention provides a method for preparing an Al-Mg-Cu series aluminium alloy L-shaped extruded material with enhanced resistance to stress corrosion cracking, specifically designed for large aircraft. The resulting L-shaped extruded aluminium alloy exhibits stress corrosion resistance that far exceeds mainstream aircraft manufacturers' acceptance standards. This advancement allows for broader application of the Al-Mg-Cu series alloy, extending the service life of aircraft and reducing maintenance costs.
