Festo announces that Richard J. Huss is the new CEO of Festo US.
Huss comes to Festo US from Bosch Rexroth, where for the past 10 years he was Vice President and General Manager. He joined Bosch Rexroth (formerly Indramat Division) in 1985 following five years with Getty’s servo motors and drives. In addition to management expertise in the technology industry, Huss has extensive experience in partnering with distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to provide innovative automation solutions to end users in a host of industries. Huss holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire. plc 1

Miles has been with Design World since 2009 covering motion control, automation, and test and measurement. He holds a BSEE degree and an MA in Philosophy from Cleveland State University and has experience working in the controls industry as a project engineer. Miles has taught engineering technology courses as well as engineering ethics continuing education courses for professional engineers in the state of Ohio. He is also a drummer, and enjoys travel and photography.
