More visitors at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be running on Dunkin’ after a new outpost of the donut and coffee chain opens at the country’s busiest airport.
According to a building permit application, a Corner Bakery on concourse T is being converted into a Dunkin’. The application details the scope of the work: new menu boards, signage, flooring and furniture, as well as the installation of a new floor drain and a new kitchen door. black linear shower drain
According to the application, the cost of construction to the 1,370-square-foot space is $378,660.
Phase Next Hospitality is the team behind Dunkin’s new Atlanta airport location. The Plano, Texas-based company helps open national brands at non-traditional locations, including airports and military bases. Other restaurant brands they work with include Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy Johns and Smashburger.
It’s not clear when the new Dunkin’ will be open for business. Phase Next Hospitality CEO Roz Mallet could not be reached for immediate comment.
This isn’t the first Dunkin’ location at the airport; travelers going through Concourse A will also find the pink and orange purveyor of coffee drinks and baked goods.
Dunkin’ was founded in 1950, and there are now more than 11,500 locations in 40 countries.
