Viega will have speakers throughout the expo, appearing on industry panels, speaking at the new product theater and conducting in-booth demonstrations of Viega’s latest product offerings – transition couplings and its complete valve solution.
Viega is the first manufacturer to offer a solution for piping systems that can be used to transition between galvanized or carbon steel pipe and copper, PEX or stainless steel in seconds. Viega MegaPres Transition Couplings are approved for use in commercial, residential and industrial applications, available in 1/2- to 2-inch sizes.
All Viega MegaPress Transition couplings are made of zero-lead (ZL) bronze, a material that reduces the risk of corrosion when connecting dissimilar metals and feature Smart Connect technology to quickly detect unpressed connections. The couplings with EPDM sealing elements carry an NSF-61 rating for potable water. The models featuring an FKM sealing element can be used with approved compressed air and technical gasses, as well as hydronic and chilled water.
