A safety issue has been identified with certain Schneider-Electric Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB).

The potentially affected MCCBs may contain a nonconforming component that may result in the circuit breaker not operating as intended under certain conditions. Should this condition occur, a risk of fire, smoke may exist and cause a potential consequence for personal injury and/or property damage. This product is for professional use only.

The model numbers are ComPact NSX, NSU, NSC 400 –630, EasyPact CVS, EZC, EZD, EZS, CSU 400 –630, PowerPact L 250 –600.

The manufacture period is from Week 21 2019 to Week 14 2021. The impacted date range is as follows: TC-2019-W21-3 ~ TC-2019-W22-2TC-2019-W24-2 ~ TC-2019- W24-4TC-2019-W46-2 ~ TC-2019-W47-3TC-2019-W51-5 ~ TC-2021-W14-4.

There are approximately 94 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

Schneider-Electric will track down possible affected customers based on the install base customer list provided by HQ and organize an intervention to replace the minitop hammer or the MCCB.

If you are not able to determine if your MCCB is potentially affected, contact your local helpdesk (gb-rssquality@se.com).
