Trojan, which has its headquarters in Santa Fe Springs, California, will celebrate a century of innovation, safety, and quality by showcasing its industry-leading battery line-up and announcing its new Trojan Lithium Extended Range OnePack battery pack at the PGA Show.
“We’re proud to mark our 100th anniversary by showcasing the progress and legacy Trojan has built within the golf industry,” said Laurie Oswald, Chief Commercial Officer of Trojan Battery Company, which was founded in 1925 by George Godber and Carl Speer. “From pioneering the first lead-acid deep-cycle golf cart battery in the 1950s to launching the lithium-ion Trojan Lithium OnePack in 2024, we’ve always been at the forefront of innovation,” added Oswald.
At the PGA Show, attendees can visit booth #3227 to enter a raffle for a chance to win a Trojan Lithium OnePack. The winner will have the opportunity to experience the performance of the battery that powered the first golf cart to the top of the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. The golf cart used for this first-of-its-kind journey will be displayed in the Trojan booth.
Trojan Battery will also announce its new Extended Range OnePack, which will be available in March. The battery pack will feature higher capacity, allowing golf carts to travel farther on a single charge.
Trojan’s lithium-ion battery line-up offers options for golf carts, utility vehicles, and other low-speed electric vehicles, including the Trojan Lithium OnePack single battery pack and GC2-size lithium-ion batteries.
The Trojan Lithium OnePack delivers up to 60 miles on a single charge, virtually zero maintenance, and faster charging – all in a single battery pack. Bluetooth connectivity allows users to remotely monitor battery status from their smartphone.
Trojan’s GC2-size lithium-ion batteries offer capacity flexibility by starting with two-to-three batteries and providing a simple way to add more as performance needs increase.
“Trojan Battery stands above the competition through its dedication to safety and quality. Built with stable lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry, four levels of safety redundancy, and a self-protecting battery management system, Trojan takes safety to the next level,” said a spokesperson for the company.
Additionally, all Trojan batteries are designed, tested, and undergo final processing in the US, for complete quality control from start to finish.
Trojan Battery has a comprehensive portfolio of power solutions to meet any golf cart requirement. Customers benefit from having a single, trusted source to provide the best technology, whether it’s lithium-ion, flooded lead acid, or Trojan AES AGM.
Trojan AES AGM batteries, which have earned six innovation awards, offer up to three times the cycle life of standard AGM batteries.
