The flashlight has a diameter of 25 mm and a length of just under 12 cm, so it fits perfectly in your pocket. Also, the weight of only 122 g including the battery makes the Warrior Mini 2 a worthwhile daily companion. This gem is made of sturdy aluminum. Solar Power System 4000w 5000w 6000w

REVIEW: Olight Warrior2 Mini

Included in the package, as usual for Olight, is everything you need. Besides the Warrior Mini 2, there is also a lanyard with its corresponding loop, a round carabiner, and the charging cable. An instruction manual should never be missing, but unfortunately, it missed the photo shoot.

The Warrior Mini 2 is very compact and powerfully bright. Thanks to the knurling, it fits well in the hand and the operation is quite simple, more on that later.

The Warrior Mini 2 is powered by a special 3.6V 18,650 battery with 3,500 mAh. Depending on the lighting mode, you can get up to 45 days of continuous lighting. Ok, that's with the 1 lumen Moonlight mode. With the 120 lumen strong Medium mode, you can get up to 19 hours.

Yes, the battery is exactly the same size as two CR123A batteries. These fit perfectly in the Warrior Mini 2, but they won't make it light up with this power source, unfortunately.

Charging is done, as typical for Olight, via the magnetic button at the end.

This works smoothly and when it lights up green, the battery is full. Very practical, as long as you don't forget the charging cable at home.

The head of the Warrior Mini 2 is not broken, that is a brightness sensor. If you get too close with the light on, the brightness will automatically be reduced. If it's still too bright, the lamp will turn off. This is meant to prevent burns or melted gear in case the lamp accidentally turns on in your pants or backpack. They thought of that here.

Thanks to the O-ring and design, the Warrior Mini 2 is waterproof to IPX8. Small dives are possible with it.

We didn't go diving with it, but we unintentionally tested its waterproofing. It fell from our hand directly into a small stream. The Warrior Mini 2 handled both situations effortlessly. It is also impact resistant, up to a 1.5m drop height.

We showed you the accessories at the beginning, now let's look at them in detail. The lanyard loop can be simply clipped on. Now you can secure the Warrior Mini 2 against loss. Whether with the carabiner, the silicone lanyard, or with tried and true Paracord, it's up to you.

We also mention the belt clip as an accessory. Due to the design, this clip can be used on both sides, as you know from other Olight flashlights. This feature is incredibly practical in use, as you can securely store the lamp in your pocket and also clip it to the visor of your cap for use.

You can also attach the belt clip to the end of the Warrior Mini 2, then the lamp sits lower in your pocket.

The operation is done through two buttons, one at the end, the other on the side. The side button is designed in such a way that it's very unlikely for the lamp to be accidentally activated. The button also has a small status LED. Green means, as always, everything is good. This light only shines when the lamp is activated.

Red usually indicates "low battery". When the Warrior Mini 2 is turned on, it means you have less than 10% battery left. The red light indicates that the lamp is in "Lockout" mode. In this mode, you cannot accidentally activate it. The rear pressure switch is also locked. The Warrior Mini 2 is unlocked by pressing the side button for a long time.

Now onto the brightness. Use the side button to cycle through the modes. In the image, the Low mode with 15 lumens and a theoretical runtime of 164 hours. Perfect for lighting your way in the forest. The Moonlight mode with 1 lumen is of course even less bright.

Medium with 120 lumens and a runtime of 19 hours.

High with 500 lumens for 218 minutes, then drops to 200 lumens for another 55 minutes. The 500 lumens already do well against the daylight outside the tunnel.

Even better against daylight is the Turbo mode with its 1,750 lumens, at least for four minutes. Then the power drops to just over 500 lumens. These will delight you for a good 200 minutes until it finally drops back to High mode. The 1,750 lumens with 12,300 candela from such a small lamp are quite impressive.

There is also a Strobe mode. You can see this in action in our video. You can also choose between two different configurations of the rear pressure switches. We show all of this in the video.

CONCLUSION: The Warrior Mini 2 offers you a lot of light in a compact form. With the rear pressure switch, it can also be used tactically. Unfortunately, the Lockout mode also locks the tactical switch, so it should be carefully considered whether you want to activate this feature. Otherwise, we can't fault the Warrior Mini 2. The operation is simple, the brightness is very good, and the build quality is top-notch.
