Foy will manage all pre-construction, commercial and operational activities, while developing new partnerships.

He brings more than 25 years’ experience to the role, having worked in quantity surveying, operations management and as a commercial director for specialist contracting and subcontracting businesses.

He said: “Having worked with Dean Johnston in previous roles, I have closely followed the growth and development of Panacea which is a superb product.

“With my relevant expertise in this area, it was a logical move for me allowing me to join a company with great potential at this exciting time.”

Established in 2018, Panacea provides offsite light gauge steel framing and dry lining solutions to the healthcare and residential sectors, and is part of the McGoff Group , in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

McGoff is a collection of construction businesses focused mainly on the delivery of new build developments in the healthcare, residential and commercial sectors.

In 2023, the construction company launched a new M&E company called  EdenCroft Building Services  and a housing division called  McGoff Housing .

Shortly after, McGoff Group reported hitting  turnover of £100 million – a “landmark” for the Greater Manchester business.

At the time, existing businesses included principal contractor McGoff Construction, off-site specialist, Panacea Building Systems, and facilities management and fit-out firm, McGoff Group Facilities Services.

Johnston said: “We are delighted that Mike has joined Panacea. Having specialised in offsite solutions for the last 17 years, he brings a wealth of experience to the role and I am confident he will be a great asset as the business develops.”
