LAST year we saw homeowners transform their dull gardens with epic shower curtains.
Many hung up decorative displays, depicting beautiful flowering scenes straight from rustic French chateaus, adding style to their outside spaces. christmas bathroom curtains
But now, shoppers are racing to Amazon to nab similar shower curtain covers, to give their homes a festive makeover.
One woman has revealed that she has given her front door a total transformation ahead of the festive season.
So with Christmas just 35 days away, if you want to get your pad ready for the most magical time of year, you’ve come to the right place.
Kirsty Jane Feeney took to social media to share a close-up look at her front door display, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on BARGAIN LOVERS, Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range, a public Facebook group with 418,200 members, Kirsty revealed that she has given her front door a huge overhaul with a Grinch door cover.
Not only this, but she’s also added candy canes and baubles galore too.
Thrilled with her Christmas display, Kirsty wrote: “The kids wanted Grinch, so that's what they got…”
And Kirsty claimed that she isn’t bothered by what people think of her Grinch-themed display, as she penned: “Might be tacky to some.. but they love it.”
Kirsty then confirmed that she found her Grinch shower curtain display door cover from Amazon for just £9.99.
She revealed that the door cover came with ribbon and has metal ring holes in each corner, but she added thick masking tape along the top and the bottom of the door to hold it in place.
Not only is the Grinch shower curtain covering Kirsty’s door, but she’s also covered her windows with Grinch stickers too.
Around her door, she’s made a gorgeous Christmas arch, complete with green and red bows and baubles.
It often feels like Christmas decorations and products start appearing in stores earlier each year. Retailers typically begin to stock Christmas items well before the holiday season to capitalise on early shoppers and to extend the buying period. Here are a few reasons why it might seem like Christmas bits are out earlier this year:
Extended Shopping Season Retailers aim to extend the holiday shopping season to maximise sales. By putting out Christmas items earlier, they encourage people to start their holiday shopping sooner.
Consumer Demand Some consumers prefer to plan and shop for Christmas well in advance, so stores cater to this demand by stocking holiday items earlier.
Marketing Strategy Early displays of Christmas items can create a festive atmosphere and build anticipation, encouraging people to get into the holiday spirit and start spending.
Competition Retailers compete to attract customers, and being the first to display holiday items can give them an edge.
Supply Chain Considerations Given recent disruptions in global supply chains, stores might be putting out Christmas items earlier to ensure they have enough stock and to spread out the demand over a longer period.
Not only this, but she explained: “I brought ribbon and made some bits.
“Stickers, Grinch and door cover [was from] Amazon and eBay.”
