We gathered feedback from five nurses who reviewed scrubs recommended by our community of over 500,000 nurses. They rated each brand based on what matters most to nurses: comfort, fit, style, quality, durability, ease of cleaning, price, and size inclusivity. The scrubs were scored on a scale of 1 to 5, allowing us to see which brands excelled in each category. For example, some brands were praised for their comfort during long shifts, while others earned top marks for their stylish look. We also made sure to highlight the brands that were built to last, perfect for those long, busy shifts.
Once the reviews were in, we ranked the scrubs in each category and calculated an overall score to determine the top brands overall.
Review: Jenny Estevez, RN (ADN), was impressed with the Skechers by Barco scrubs for their comfort and thoughtful design, particularly enjoying the zippered front pocket for secure storage. The scrubs also had pockets on the sides of the pants, which Jenny appreciated for convenience. While she loved these features, she would have liked to see a pocket on the front of the top to make the design even more functional. Jenny highly recommends these scrubs for other nurses, calling them comfortable and well-designed for practicality, especially for those who rely on having secure pockets during their shifts.

Review: Ini Lopez, BSN, RN, reviewed the Fabletics Evolve Scrub Top and Hi Rise On-Call Joggers, giving these scrubs 5-star ratings for comfort, fit, and style—especially for curvy nurses. “They passed the squat test. Definitely did not feel a breeze back there,” she said, noting that they fit well for nurses with curves. She was impressed with the soft material, which she described as “pajama-like” and appreciated the vibrant color. However, she did mention that the scrubs run a little big, so sizing down might provide a better fit.
Jenny Estevez, RN (ADN), loved the Infinity by Cherokee scrubs for their comfort and stretch, which allowed her to move freely without feeling restricted or too loose. She praised the bright colors and the overall comfort, saying, “Super comfortable and bright colors!” However, Jenny felt that they could benefit from extra pockets on the sides for better functionality. Jenny highly recommends these scrubs to all nurses for their soft feel and vibrant look, noting that they are easy to wear throughout long shifts without sacrificing comfort.
Tiffany Williams, BSN, RN, is a fan of the softness, durability, and wrinkle-free nature of Figs scrubs. “They’re soft, durable, and wrinkle-free,” she said, emphasizing the overall comfort these scrubs provide during long shifts. However, she noted a few downsides: the Zamora Joggers don’t have enough pockets for the practical needs of a nurse. Despite these shortcomings, Tiffany still recommends Figs to other nurses, particularly for their style and comfort. "I'm just a sucker for the different colorways though!" she added, showing her love for the variety of options available.
Tiffany Williams, RN (BSN), reviewed MedCouture scrubs and is a big fan of the softness and cost-effectiveness of MedCouture scrubs. “So soft! And cost-effective! And pocketsssssss!” she exclaimed, highlighting the comfort and functionality of the scrubs. She also praised the pockets, a feature that’s crucial for nurses. Despite her love for these scrubs, she mentioned one drawback, “Not enough colors tbh (to be honest).”

Skechers By Barco also received perfect scores in every category. They were particularly appreciated for their combination of comfort and style, making them an excellent choice for women seeking all-day wear with durability and functionality. “I would definitely recommend these scrubs. Very comfortable and had pockets on the side of the pants...which I love!” Nurse Jenny Esteves remarked.

Dickies scored 4 for affordability, offering a balance of comfort and durability at a reasonable price. A nurse mentioned, "Dickies offers a good price for scrubs that hold up after multiple washes. They're durable and functional without breaking the bank."

Healing Hands also earned a score of 4 for affordability, offering a solid balance of quality and price. One nurse said, "These scrubs are comfortable and high-quality for the price. It’s rare to find something that combines value and performance so well."

Maurice, a male nurse who reviewed Healing Hands, said, "I like that the scrubs have big pockets on the shirt, zip pockets on the pants. The XS is true to size, it's a great fit. I love the jogger style." Despite loving the size of the pockets, Maurice likes to tuck his shirt and remarked, "I wish the pockets were a little higher up."
Nurse reviewer Maurice Tillman found the Dickies EDS Essentials scrubs soft, stretchy, and comfortable for long shifts. “The XS is a true fit for me!” he said, though he noted the pant length was less than ideal. While he appreciated their comfort and style, he rated durability and cleaning a 1 and 2.
